Prayer For Sin’s Power To Be Broken
Prayer For Sin’s Power To Be Broken (According to Romans 6)
Father God,
I thank you for instructing us not to keep on sinning so that You can show us more and more of your wonderful grace. Help us Lord not to forget we were joined with Christ Jesus in His death as we joined Him in baptism. Hallelujah!
Thank you Lord Jesus, since we have been united with you in your death, we will also be raised to life as You were. I give thanks and praise to You for the victory you have won over the power of sin on the cross; and now that you live for the glory of God so we also should consider ourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through You. Glory to Jesus!
Lord Jesus, I declare that I will obey your command and not to let sin have control over my life; and instead I give this new life as an instrument to God to do what is right for His glory. I declare sin is no longer my master for I now live under the freedom of God’s grace.
Hallelujah! Now I am the slave to righteous living so that I will become holy. Praise God!
May the Glory of God fill the earth as the water cover the seas.
All this I pray in Jesus wonderful Name. Amen.
