SPIRITUAL DARKNESS
These two days thru CD message and bible study, I have learnt about some truth of spiritual darkness.
Darkness come when the presence of God is not there; the devil is givien permission to stay in area that are withou God's presence.
We as christians also can experience darkness in our lives when certain areas of our lives are not in line with the principles of God's words.
When we have pride; when we want to rule our own life; when we are disobedient; when we ignore the commandments of God and Jesus;
when we stop to bear fruits for the Lord;...the list can go on and on.
The bible said withou faith it is impossible to please God and we cant enjoy the presence of God. That also give the devil chance as we open the door for them to enter, and that's when the darkness have the right to enter into our lives.
The word of God in Ephesians instruct us to put on the full armour of God everyday and stand firm (in faith) and pray without ceasing, by doing so we are able to overcome the evil ones.
The Lord have given me these words "Joshua Spirit" this morning. The spirit of Joshua is: Boldness, Obedience and Trust in God.
I thank God for His encouragement and promise to be courages and obedient and alsos be consistent in Faith, His words in Joshua 1:6-9 assured us by doing so we will have success and prospierity. Halleluah Glory to Jehova God!
Joshua 1:6~9
6 "Be strong and brave. You will lead these people, and they will take the land as their very own. It is the land I promised with an oath to give their people long ago. 7 "Be strong and very brave. Make sure you obey the whole law my servant Moses gave you. Do not turn away from it to the right or the left. Then you will have success everywhere you go. 8 Never stop reading this Scroll of the Law. Day and night you must think about what it says. Make sure you do everything that is written in it. Then things will go well with you. And you will have great success.
9 "Here is what I am commanding you to do. Be strong and brave. Do not be terrified. Do not lose hope. I am the Lord your God. I will be with you everywhere you go."
