What God’s require of us
“And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the LORD and His statutes which I command you today for your good?”
(Deuteronomy 10:12,13).
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord”
(Hebrews 12:14).
God want us to be holy so that we can see Him
“But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”
(Romans 6:22,23).
God’s sanctification and preservation
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He that call you, who also will do it”
(1 Thessalonians 5:23,24).
God’s Living Word - JESUS
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)
“Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
(John 8:58)
God want our life to “prophesy” Jesus
“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
Revelation 19:10
