Psalm 23

Psalm 23

1 The Lord is my shepherd (He is my Jehova Rohi).
He gives me everything I need. (He is my Jehova Jireh)

2 He lets me lie down in fields of green grass. (He is my Jehova Shalom)
He leads me beside quiet waters.
3 He gives me new strength. (He is my Jehova Rophi)
He guides me in the right paths for the honor of his name.
(He is my Jehova Tsidkenu)
4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid.
(You are my Jehova Shammah). You are with me.
Your shepherd's rod and staff comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me right in front of my enemies.
(You are my Jehova Nissi).
You pour oil on my head. My cup runs over.
(You are my Jehova M’kaddesh, The Lord who sanctify).
6 I am sure that your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.
And I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

Amen and thank you in Jesus Name.

8 Ways A Believer Is Deceived

The Eight Ways A Believer Is Deceived
By Mary Lindow

1. James 1:23 -
For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror.

2. 1 John 1:8 -
If we
claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

3. Gal. 6:3 -
If any of you
think you are something when you are nothing, you deceive yourselves.

4. 1 Corin. 3:18
Stop deceiving yourselves. If you
think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise.

5. James 1:26 –
If you claim to be religious but
don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless.

6. Gal.6:7 -
Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.

7. 1 Corin. 6:9-10
Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

8. 1 Corin. 15:33
Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.”

Lord,

We need your Grace daily to keep us and guide us in your truth. Help us!

"WHEN THE BANQUET WAS READY"

MAT 22:3-14 (NLT) 3
When the banquet was ready, he sent his servants to notify those who were invited. But they all refused to come! 4 "So he sent other servants to tell them, "The feast has been prepared. The bulls and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the banquet!" 5 But the guests he had invited ignored them and went their own way, one to his farm, another to his business. 6 Others seized his messengers and insulted them and killed them. 7 "The king was furious, and he sent out his army to destroy the murderers and burn their town. 8 And he said to his servants, "The wedding feast is ready, and the guests I invited aren't worthy of the honor. 9 Now go out to the street corners and invite everyone you see." 10 So the servants brought in everyone they could find, good and bad alike, and the banquet hall was filled with guests. 11 "But when the king came in to meet the guests, he noticed a man who wasn't wearing the proper clothes for a wedding.
12 "Friend," he asked, "how is it that you are here without wedding clothes?" But the man had no reply. 13 Then the king said to his aides, "Bind his hands and feet and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." 14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."

A good reminder of the Lord to us:
"I remind all of you that the time is drawing nigh when I will receive you unto myself, and also all of those who heed and obey My Word. Wash your garments of all defilements, let go of those who will not hear, forget that which is behind, and press on to the high calling which is in Christ Jesus. "

Lord Jesus, I thank you for your reminder through your servant Ron Powell. Help us to know the importance of having intimacy with you in this last day knowing by doing so we are able to keep our garments clean. Help us to "hang on and not let go" until You show us your faithfulness.
In Jesus Name I give thank. Glory to The Lord!

1 PETER 2:9

Scripture: 1 Peter 2: 9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him Who brought you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Halleluah! Praise the Lord!
Indeed, what a privilege to be chosen for the high calling of ministering to God.

Thank you Lord that by Your Grace and Mercy, You have brought us out of that darkness, and are continuing to bring the darkness out of us!

Father, I want to declare your praises and
give Glory to You each day of my life!
Amen.

Luke 18

Luke 18:9-14 (KJV)

9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Lord Jesus,

I thank your for this precious lesson to remind us not to trust in our own righteousness and despise others.
Lord I need Your Grace and strength to resist and reject this spirit of pride from functioning in my life.
Help me always be thankful to God for His merciful Grace towards mankind. Help me to have a humble spirit because You said “He that humble himself shall be exalted.”
Your words say “the just shall live by faith and not by work.” All things come through You and work thru Your Spirit, therefore we shall not be proud of our sucess but instead shall give thanks and praise You for the good works You have done in our lives.

Glory to You my Lord and my King. Amen!
